15th March 2003 Windsurfing: Portland Wind Direction: East Wind Stength: 17/25 knots Surf / Sea State: Chopy ,Small waves Air Temperature: not to bad Sea Temperature: not to bad Weather: SUNNY!!! Max Speed: Distance Covered: Sailed my F2 Ride for the first time but as we hit the water the wind dropped "Bummer I was robbed" Borrowed seanbo's big board again and had it large in the onshore waves on a 6mtr Tush storm and my 5mtr north sting. I really felt that I had finally crossed the strong wind barrier today and really had fun bouncing the board around. Had to rescue Seanbo when he crashed and burned at in the channel in the entrance to the fleet . The rig got stuck under in the incoming tide and would not free up. Big downer the Pub was Closed on the way home so Sean could not buy the Hero a beer. J... |
